FERS, the colorful chess and cognitive habilities

Perhaps education should teach us to think, to discover how to use the mind in the most effective way, a way that allow us, since childhood, to obtain more good things of life and offer more to all people around us. The Colorful chess allows us to learn and increase our thinking habilities, we know that intelligence, in its deeper definition, involves more than the ability to solve abstract problems or IQ (intelligence quotient), the ability to respond questions of an IQ test is not enough, although we know about the genetic component of the intelligence, we can not stop here, intelligence, as argued by many scholars, and from the Fers, we join with the broader definition, we define intelligence as a group of skills that allow us to:
 Solve problems with valuable solutions

Know ourselves better

Know and interact better with the world around us

Achieve the goals and interests that make us happier

Develop major products in our community.

In short, the intelligence is an interaction between biological ties and opportunities for learning, Fers      is a                   transformervehicle that stimulate to solve problems, an educational tool, where learning withplayful situations to cope better with life. We need to transfer everything he learned in a game andrelate it to life is not so easy, this is the cornerstoneof education, learning to learn, not us who providethe solution to school failure, but no doubt from theChess of Colors, we can help the student abstractsand internalize metacognitive skills and try totransfer them or use them in their own learning.

In Fers, The Colorful Chess, we use methodological processes of thinking and we try the student transfers those processes to other areas of knowledge, many people play this game, but the effect on their intelligence will always be personal and unique. We assume that the act of thinking is free and unlimited, and we can say that is the only thing that made great to human beings.
What are we talking about? We talk about:

Make decisions, understand defeats, solve problems in a structured and creative, order, classify and allocate resources, manage threats positively, select attributes and organize them, plan orderly in short and long term, working and cooperating in a group with a common goal , define objectives, responsibilities, learning to help, calculate probabilities, evaluate opportunities, develop questions as a source of answers and solutions (cause and effect), extract critical solutions, learn from mistakes, look for options to differentiate the important from the urgent, recognize patterns, sacrifice to get the initiative, overcome prejudice, finding key situations, resolve conflicts assertively, make commitments, realize the vulnerability and invincibility, manage risk, get short-term and long-term memory,  differentiate from stable and changing realities... etc.

Quizás el Fers, el Ajedrez de Colores ayudará a convertir a nuestros niños y jóvenes de la era digital, de esta era conceptual, a sobrevivir y a prosperar en este nuevo mundo que emerge.
